Every morning is the same with my two-year-old. He wakes up at 7:30 and immediately starts playing with his toys in his room. I hear him on the baby monitor and go fix him a cup of milk, then go to his room, where he says, “Hi mommy, milk please?” I give him the milk, and then we play with his blocksin his room building towers until 8:00. We then eat breakfast in the kitchen, then lay on the couch together watching Sesame Street. Thank goodness my husband got satellite TV from www.expertSatellite.com because my son loves Sesame Street. He often runs around the house with a blanket tied around his neck yelling “Super Grover!” He loves Elmo’s World, which was actually the first thing he ever watched on TV. It was so cute to hear him ask, “Melmo?” before he could say Elmo. I am okay with him watching Sesame Street because it is quite educational. He has learned shapes and colors and many words watching it, and I am able to reinforce what he learns each day after our time together on the couch. Life with a two-year-old is really fun.
